The Nightmare Paradox was filmed on a shoestring budget in Oregon, Washington and Nebraska. Once locations were scouted, a group of 6 cast and crew determined to tell a story hit the Northwest. Six days of shooting took place with locations in Cape Meares and Portland in Oregon, hitting Belfair, Washington for the last couple days. Many scenes were filmed all over Nebraska, including Springfields, Leshara, North Bend and Omaha.
